Christ the King Presbyterian Church

How to Get There: Take #1 Bus from Corner of Mt. Auburn and DeWolfe St. or the subway to the Central Square stop and walk (see site for directions).
Description: Presbyterian church with young congregation. The service is fairly traditional but with a very relaxed atmosphere. Wear khakis, jeans, shorts, polos, t-shirts, shirt & tie (whatever you like). Sermons are a great blend of teaching and application.

Location: Sheraton Commander Hotel on Garden St.
How to Get There: Walking Distance
Description: About 100 members in congregation; many Harvard students. The service is very contemporary with worship time, a 10 minute snack and mingle time, a 20-25 minute sermon, and then communion time. Dress is very casual.

Location: Radisson Hotel Boston 200 Stuart St.
How to Get There: (1) Take the T (redline) to Park St. and walk across Boston Common to the Radisson OR (2) Take the T (redline) to Park St. and transfer to green line and take green line to Arlington stop.
Description: The service includes Presbyterian liturgy but with a contemporary music band. There is a good mix of college students from all over Boston, and there is a strong college ministry with many small groups. A very welcoming environment with active concern placed on the welfare of local and international community. The sermons are generally geared towards the independent intellectual/professional. Dress is casual smart.

St. Paul Catholic Church

Location: 29 Mt. Auburn St. (Across the street from the southeast corner of Adams on Bow Street)
Description: A well-attended Catholic Church with a congregation including a large contingent of Harvard students. Worship style is very high-church (hymns and psalms). 11:00 AM service is popular due to Boston Boy’s Choir, but student mass offers more time to mingle.

Park Street Church

How to Get There: Take the T (redline) to the Park St. stop. The church is right outside the stop.
Description: Pastor (Dr. Gordon P. Hugenberger) is a Suma Cum Laude Harvard graduate and is considered one of the highlights of the church. Congregation is largely adults and families from Boston or the Greater Boston area, but there is a large college student contingent, especially in afternoon services. Dress is casual smart to nicer.
